Do those mean winter blues got you down? Me too. I've been doing some redecorating, painting some rooms, (that has been planned for a long time, I don't just spontaneously paint rooms...) and lots of other wintertime, snow day stuff. Today I decided to use some yarn I had left over from a scarf I arm-knitted (tutorial soon), so I got to work on this garland and thought I'd share it with you.
I know I don't usually write on Inspiration Tuesdays, but I'd thought I'd say hi. I really wanted to make this week's inspiration about summer, because it has been SO cold lately. I know summer isn't all about beach houses and teen girls in bikini's, but I felt that that was the best way I could portray it. So, I hope there aren't any hard/weird/confused feelings.
A few very cold, very snowy nights ago, friends and I traveled out to a little Mexican restaurant called La Cabanita. The cutest little place. There are literally like 4 tables, but people love it. Here are some photos I took while we were waiting for our food. The soda was SO amazing. Mandarin was my favorite flavor. Who doesn't love churros? One of my favorite pictures. There could possibly be a DIY in this bottles future.
My iPhone needed a little bit of an update. The beautiful old iPhone is a bit out of my reach, so i thought I'd leaf it with my new gilding set. The screen was cracked a few months ago, and one of our close friends fixes them for a hobby. So we paid him like $30 and sent the phone away. (it was a white iPhone when we sent it away...) He accidentally ordered the wrong color face! So I had a mutant iPhone for a couple of weeks, with a black face and a white home button.
Hey guys! I hate when I have so much work to do that I can't talk to you all as much. I just wanted to tell ya that we redesigned the LOLLY project. No content changes, just design. We want to see how you like it! We absolutely love it! The graphics totally and completely belong to the We Lived Happily Ever After blog. She gives free graphics every friday. Here is the link to the 4 Wreath printables that we used. We are so thankful to have this amazing women provide things like this for everyone on the huge blogesphere.
