We all know someone that makes THAT resolution, it might even be you. (Let's face it, even me too. *gasp*) Almost everyone strives to be healthier. Eat better, hit the gym more, you name it. But for 99.9% of the population, it's hard! We look on to that opposing .1% with googly eyes, wishing that we were them. Never fear, though. Here are 5 recipes for you to stay in tip-top fitness shape in 2014.
This beautiful salad highlights kale ( a new health fave) and pomegranate seeds (OUR new health fave, I just finished a box of 'em a minute ago!) Recipe via Food52.
An easy, 30-min pasta recipe with fettucine. Shiitake mushrooms, basil, and lemon zest compliment each other perfectly. And even better... its under 350 calories! Via Eating Well.
This Veggie Paleo soup recipe includes corn, red chile peppers, garlic cloves, lemon zest, you name it. The tLp is definitely going to try this one out for dinner tomorrow. Via FitSugar.
The Pioneer Woman strikes again! Running a blog, she creates all natural meals that may or may not be low calorie. Thankfully, she gives step-by-step instructions on how to make a version of CPK's BBQ pizza, that's about 400 cal.
For our last recipe, (another pasta one, I'm sorry!) we head over to A Beautiful Mess to try their version of Martha Stewart's "One Pot Pasta". The name is pretty explanatory. (It's pasta made in one pot, if you couldn't figure it out.) It loosely serves 3-4 people. This is another one the tLp team is trying very soon... :)
